Meghan L. Green, M Ed.
Bio of Founder and CEO
Meghan L. Green is a currently a 3rd grade teacher at Uplift Ascend Primary in Fort Worth, TX as well as a fourth-year doctoral student studying curriculum and instruction with a specialization in early childhood education at Texas A & M University-Commerce. She received her M Ed. degree in early childhood education from Northwestern State University in 2014 and a B.A. degree in anthropology with a minor in African American studies from Howard University in 2006. Her research interests include anti-racist k-12 education.
Results
Trained over 200 pre-service and in-service early childhood and elementary educators in various topics related to anti-bias and anti-racist education in private and public settings
Created social justice seminar curriculum materials for use with over 400 elementary students in an urban school district
Supported and coached early childhood and elementary educators during implementation of social justice curriculum
